| Myler looked rusty but is to be expected after a lengthy lay off blaming the halves is scandalous they cant create without the ball and the forwards looked shameful tonight loosing collision and giving away penalties bring back the injured players slowly off the bench over a 3 or 4 week period of time as i don't think there are any 20's games for a while

Spot on yes we need a super star and chase is that man to step into briers boots

| Teams play themselves into form and players need to play.
Cannot think of ANY reason to constantly rest fit players.

| Resting all these players is becoming pathetic now.. Tony Smith willl and deservedly so take a big chunk of the blame for today, how many games have we just scraped through this season and we've gone home thinking we've got away with that, get the best team out week in week out and get some form going again. Its becoming ridiculous as a fan that pays to go to every game when you get there and so many players have been rested, i understand resting maybe 1 of waterhouse/westwood/carvell every now and then.. but resting basically all our playmaking leaders? pffft. And to make all those changes aswell as bringing in Evans Myler and Solomona from long lay offs was frankly a very amateur decision.

| All the talk of playoffs, squad rotation and resting doesn't wash for me.
Really, how late are we planning on leaving it to develop some sense of form? Surely you can't go into a playoff series totally cold. I just don't see it.
Yes, I know the weekly rounds are a 'joke' since Leeds won it from 5th but we're conning ourselves to some extent if we expect it all to just 'click' come sept/october.

Pretty much spot on.
ATEOTD, this is now an entertainment business. It's not like it was 20 years or so, ago, where people turned up and wanted their team to win BECAUSE IT MEANT SOMETHING. We are now just turning up at the HJ 13 times a year, and (for those that do it), go and travel to away games for a litteral "jockeying" position. IT COSTS A LOT OF MONEY TO FOLLOW A TEAM NOWADAYS, and it seems like we're all "peeing it up the wall" for such a tiny amount of recognition.
RL, now, reminds me of these cycling "events" that you see in a velodrome.
A few laps of #### all, when they are all messing about, and no-one's trying, and then....BANG, everyone's running around like a blue d fly, at the end.
We need to have a proper recognition for the LLS.....they go automatically into the GF.

| I have missed more games this year than in the last 20+ years. It only seems anything like a proper game when we play Wigan or Saints.
Tonight was a joke. It was like a lower division game, awful.

| It is a symbol of how far we have come over the last few years that performances that were not all that uncommon for many years before TS cause this much of an inquest into what went wrong

This post is so dense light bends round it. To blame two young talented halves when all those around them couldn't catch the ball, pass the ball, make yards or stop giving away penalties is ludicrous in the extreme. Oh, and Salford played pretty well too.

| I'm a fan of Warrington from afar and I have got say that was one the most abject performances I have seen in recent times.
They truly deserved the 'y Warrington' jibe.
Everything they did was terrible until near the end.
Penalty-try ad infinitum.
Even with absences there were some so-called stars on show in the Warrington side, but it looked like Salford were playing a Championship side. Plus Warrington didn't look like they were bothered.
Terrible!
Smith was resigned to sipping his bottled water, chewing his gum and smiling ruefully.
Hang your head Tony.
Well done Salford for throwing the ball about.

| Tonight was just odd for me and annoying
Its one thing playing round and rotating the squad but tonight was just plain stupid and disrespectful from TS in my opinion and in a way I'm glad we were punished. Too many players being asked to come straight back in after so long out and be up to speed, and poor positioning of players ie Cooper in 2md row.
Myler and Evans were way off the pace defensively. Cooper an absolute liability in defense, and wood likewise in attack.
Credit to Salford though. They battered us and rightly so.

| The better team won on the night end of.
TS put a team he thought was good enough to beat Salford, for me to many average performances.
No point blaming one person its a team game everyone is to blame.
