| Well the blame is going to clearly sit at the feet of Sam Burgess when Harthill buggers off to HKR - who could blame the lad? I’d hand in a transfer request now if that embarrassment was keeping me out of the side….along with Crowther. To extend Powell’s contract when he’s producing those numbers is UNBELIEVABLE….unless his contract states he’s paying us.

| Dan Russell - 5: Another debutant but Salford will have wanted more from the Papua New Guinea international after his arrival on loan from Warrington.
Tom Whitehead - 7: Highly-rated young second-row came in on debut after loan from Warrington and worked hard.
Everything that’s wrong with our club right now.

| I guess it’s why we can’t move Russell on, does not matter where he is nobody wants him. Whitehead puts in a decent performance we don’t use him but he is off to HKR you can’t make this stuff up.

Off the field ... I don't know who really makes the decisions. Not really into sacking people (especially the daft idea of sacking everyone) and would prefer to work with people & the next person in might be worse.. Question. Why should being employed by Warrington Wolves be any different to being employed by any other private sector company? If they worked at IBM, for example, based on performance Fitzpatrick and Chambers would be out of the door by now, as would several of the players and Burgess would be on a competency assessment. But apparently you get a free pass if you work for us? Sorry I haven't a clue about how ruthless IBM is? Might be on dicey grounds for dismissing staff if there was a high percentage of injury within their the workforce. That well know phrase "mitigating circumstances" might be mentioned. So you believe there is mitigation for the way the club as been run for a good number of years now. 20 years of mitigation perhaps. Im not buying injuries as we were poor with a full side out from the get go this year. It is indisputable that we have had the finances and facilities to compete with the top clubs for 20 years and yet failed to establish ourselves as one. We nearly did it under Smith but since then it's been a steady spiral downwards. 1 challenge cup in 13 years for countless millions in full cap spend and big name signings. Whats makes it all the worse is that we are a perennial laughing stock. There should be an outcry of alarm bells ringing around the HJ over the fact that a team, who were only promoted to SL in 2017, are going to win a Grand Final before us given how much we have spent. It’s damning that is.

As a Hull Fc supporter, of too many years standing, I have a certain amount of empathy with this situation! I too know what it's like to watch my club going round in a seemingly never ending spiral. Players come, players go, coaches come, coaches go, and yet whenever progress is being made, it's not long before we're travelling in a backwards direction again. Yep, know that feeling all too well I'm afraid!! Only four clubs have won SL since its inception and, in truth, most clubs don't really have the capacity and capability to be able to mount a serious sustained challenge for the title. But at some point in the past 25 years both Hull Fc and Warrington really should have put together a title winning squad and broke up the Wigan-Saints-Leeds triangle. Not convinced anyone else could have but us two, but we've both continually fallen short in this regard. Watching you from the outside this year, I've no idea why you've been so underwhelming virtually all year. I thought you might kick on from 2024 but it simply hasn't happened for you and you're stuck at the crossroads of decision again. Once more, I know that feeling all too well with my club!!! It'll be interesting to see where you go to from here. The worse part, for both of us, is watching the dreaded rovers do exactly what we should be doing. They spent the best part of two decades in the wilderness and yet they are increasingly looking likely to achieve a feat which has elusively remained out of our reaches. It's about grabbing the opportunities when they are presented to you. It looks like they will where neither of us did. Hope it goes well for you, but you definitely look like you're floundering at the moment. PS If you lose to us next Saturday, think that will be your already slim play-off hopes disappear. If it's any consolation we've not exactly been uprooting trees these past two weekends either, so who knows how next week will unfold!!!

They are woeful stats i have to agree, i am braced for what i am about to say but i don't mind Powell he speeds the play up when he comes on, his passing off the ground is good. Yes i know he threw one into nowhere on Saturday on their line but that's just one instance. He does need to add some running into his game 100% but i feel he's got some flak on here recently. Defending wise he's solid no complaints, passing wise he's on the money it goes right where you would want it when taking the ball in.

What's infuriating is that, I seem to recall we signed Brad Dwyer and moved him on immediately? Or it was rumoured we were signing him and then didn't? For all his foibles, at least when he gets on the pitch he brings energy and actually makes yards. God.

When Dwyer was with us (Leeds) he certainly brought energy, and caused mayhem against a tiring opposition pack. The problem was that, more often than not, that mayhem also extended to the rest of the Leeds team. Unpredictable, most certainly off the cuff, and he did have some go forward in him. Great when you're on top, backing up and bossing games. Unfortunately for us, for most of the time we weren't. I liked the enthusiasm Dwyer brought, unfortunately for all concerned it was just the wrong time for all parties.

I've not looked at the stats but Powell works as a foil for Walker, particularly when all was well last season so a better option than Dwyer at that time. Fast forward to this year and Powell is operating with Crowther with lackluster performances across the team. I'm not blaming these two individuals, it's a team sport but this type of selection is symptomatic of where we are as a club at the moment

Well, defending and passing the ball accurately from dummy half are fairly fundamental aspects of a 9's role and I think virtually every hooker in the game can tick those boxes and has done for most of the last century.
For a bloke who has played half back I'd expect him to be able to lurch forward for the odd yard gain but he's too old to change now.
Walker's return can't come quick enough. We've missed him more than any other player, inc. Williams and Sneyd. He can do all the above, and has a great running, support and kicking game. And he's got some fire in his belly.
In his absence, Harthill should have been in.

I hope he's got a very big notepad and plenty of ink in his pen. But most importantly that someone actually acknowledges WTF is going on at our club Complete 5h1tshow yet again at the club, despite us again paying out overs to certain players, and also big contracts too to plenty of plodders. I can't wait for my questionnaire
