| N'ah...he had his chance and shat on us from a great height. I think it would cause trouble for other players too. Can't imagine the likes of Chilly and Ratch welcoming him back with open arms.

| What sort of shape is he in? How quickly can he get back to his best? If he can do it quickly then why not? I would prefer Sandow to Eastmond or Roberts.
Yes he left on bad terms and there is baggage but there are other threads on this message board about how rugby league is going down hill, boring, quality in decline. In the last few years the time that was most exciting watching Wire was when Sandow was here. RL is supposed to be an entertainment product and he makes the game exciting.
Most important thing for me is, is Sandow fit enough to do himself justice. There will be a lot of people from other clubs and also at Wire, who would view his return cynically, and say it was a waste of money. If he was unfit and not able to produce his former level he would be treated as a figure of fun in the English game and get laughed at. If he was fit, then he would be a cut above the rest of halfbacks in SL, could be the player who could win us trophies, nobody would be laughing, and he would round off what had been an up and down career, as being a real winner.
Lets hope there is some potential in this story.

| He hasn't played at even Queensland Cup level for a year. The last I saw him was in the street brawl video. I can't believe anyone would seriously consider him until he at least got back into shape and showed some degree of commitment to a team before looking at bringing him to England again.

| The best player we've had at Wire since Briers retired. If his head was right, I'd have him back tomorrow if there were no problems amongst the current squad.

| For me it would all depend on what contract he got. If he was on a relatively small cost contract until he proved himself ... I would give him a go. He [iwas[/i very exciting to watch and there aren't many like that.

| ....according to the account, he said he'd play for free.
Which is still a risk...leave a rotten apple in the bowl and before you know it...you'll have a bowl of rotten apples.

| At one point on the account he calls Roberts ' Tumble' - which pretty much confirms it as a fake. Whoever is doing it has far, far too much time on their hands.

| At least Kyle Eastmond is still playing top level rugby. ...and is a relatively fit elite sportsman.
Sandow is working in a mine playing amateur level rugby he is not wanted by one single professional club over their. ..nor is he wanted by the reserve grade clubs either. ... I shudder to think what state of fitness he would be in.
As already stated the account is clearly fake. ......
You don't leave a club under a huge cloud and reply via a filthy rag "give us a shout "....
It would be wise to crawl back on your knees begging . ...give us a shout. .indeed. ..
Anyway I'm in the Blake Austin camp. ..he is top quality player and a top quality bloke too....and he is really an exciting off the cuff player not like Roberts who thought he was. ...
So Blake Austin please Mr Moran. ....
