| couldnt make the game as just paid for my magic weekend tickets and a holiday so was a bit brasseck this week. but James child i mean come on he needs to be hung drawn and quartered, then maybe hung again!
phantom knock ons that went back.
conned by the bratford players (i wouldn't mind but he knew they were doing it as he was constantly telling them to stop trapping the player in)
the out on the full.
the refusal of lee asking a question concerning a penalty which the captain has every right to ask what they have to do.
he called simon grix, scott (seems it isnt just stevo gets that wrong!)
the list is endless but it was the same for both teams.
i feel sorry for anyone who was watching RL for the first time, how many would watch it a second??

| I haven't watched it back yet but if he's refused to let Lee ask him a question, I've no idea what he was doing letting diskin yell at him for nearly two minutes straight when Brett was setting up that penalty attempt. He wouldn't shut the duck up,

| Had ticket for the game but couldn't go as I had a cold and the weather wasn't looking promising.
Good performance after 20 minutes when we started running and tackling with a purpose. Carvell was amazing considering his previous form. Special mention for Riley who is getting better and better at returning the ball out of defence. and his try shows the confidence he now has.
Not going to comment on Childs as he isn't worth the effort.

| Ben Harrison very impressive today. Mike Cooper also another good game. Tyrone did nowt wrong but I don't think he's as good a 13 as Grix.

Diskin has developed into a really whiny little tart whose only tactic of note appears to be to try and win penalties by waving his arms, moaning and flopping about thre play-the-ball. See also: Wayne Godwin.

| I think slowly but surely there's signs that it's almost a matter of time before it all comes together. The final piece will probably be the 'return' of Monaghan, the real one not the fella who started 2012.
Harrison looks a different player, like he's lost a stone and gained a yard, for the first time in his career, he looks an actual threat as a ball carrier, making breaks etc.
Carvell & Wood look to be back on the right path too, especially Carvell. They with Morley etc have been the cornerstones of our field position during the recent good times, we'll need them again if we're too have more.
We need to sort this discipline stuff out, some I think is out of our hands but we must rectify this somehow.

| As TS said, with Childs we have experienced frustratingly slow games in the recent past. He didn't look quite as bad on the telly when I watched it again later. To be fair to him, there are 3 of them out there and they are miked up and supposed to work as a team so it is not just Childs who made the gaffes.

| At the point of being unpopular, when I got back from the match I watched it again on telly, I thought Childs performance wasn't as bad as I thought it was live at the match, where i confess I was caught up in the emotion, singing that he wasn't fit to be a referee with he rest. All refs make mistakes, it goes with the job, however his style of being too whistley causes him trouble when he misses some obvious infringements. He should just try and let the game flow a little more and he may prove a little less hated.

| As with the previous two posters, when I watched it back, I didn't think the reffing looked as bad as at the game, but I think it was mostly due to the BBC team not pointing out the mistakes and then showing endless replays like you get on Sky. Prior to the Purtell no try decision there was, from where I was sitting at least, a clear knock on, but there was barely a mention of it on the TV.

| Regarding the refereeing standard ,maybe one of the problems is that there are not enough available top class refs. employed by the RFL so there is no competition at games & they are guaranteed to get a match to referee every week. Maybe the RFL should get the touch judges more actively involved in decision making ,maybe call them referee's assistants like in football.

| Tyke McCarthy's 'knock on' while facing his own posts was the worst of his many cock ups.
Hill's sin binning was due to the Bradford players poor ball security and Childs' having aready made up his mind that one of ours was having a rest at the next offence. Hope its a long time before we have to suffer this bloke again.

We're lucky to have a top flight sporting team in the town, you should go no matter how inconvenient it is.
Every little helps !'"
i agree! however i turned up with my 11 year old, got his leg caught in seat belt getting out the back of my mates car, torn ligaments and a swolen knee (and a lot of swearing for a 11 year old)resulted in me catching the game on TV despite having 2 tickets for the game!
and he's off school now! little sod!
