Worth a one-year contract. With Penny still learning and, I expect, back at Widnes for a while, we only have two recognised first-team wingers in Hicks and Riley, having a third would be sensible cover.

I reckon he's got another year left in him. I reckon he'd make a great backroom staff member, some sort of consultancy role or, as some have said, a media/ambassador-type role. The bloke just oozes charisma and this sport needs more people like him.
Plus to have the proud province of Ulster represented at the top level of the game is a great antidote to the 'small sport nobody outside of the coalmines cares for' Fleet Street stereotype.
