| Quote: Saddened! "I hope you're doing it at the Grand Final as well. No one remembers the hub cap winners the following season. It's not a big thing any more and there really shouldn't even be a trophy for it.'"
Well if we win it we'll certainly remember and I would say that most people remember that Wigan won it last season!
I also remember that Wigan won the Grand Final. Its the losers of that one that no one usually remebers. However when its the same team that loses in it year after year it seems to stick in your mind!

Dont mention losing finals to Saints fans.....they wrote the book on it.

| Still a bit gutted that I can't finish work early enough to go but I'm still buzzing and can't wait for tonight. Like other posters have said we should never forget how far we have come and where we've come from as it makes us appreciate the level we're at now and what we might be about to achieve all the more

| Quote: Horatio Yed "Remember your wife when she was your girlfriend, how it was exciting, that first time you got her in to bed, you wasn't a virgin, you knew what sex was like but you were still super excited so much so you probably lasted 3 minutes and told her you're not usually that bad, that is winning the LLS.
Eventually though she becomes your wife and you're winning the LLS a few times but it's not the same, then one day you take her up the back shute and it's really exciting, that is winning the GF.
Right now all the Wire fans are preparing to have sex with your girl for the first time, hopefully we'll take her up the wrong un before even marrying her so that we can cheat on her with a stunning Aussie bird.'"
The mistake we made the last two times was getting fellated at Wembley and shooting our loads so we had nothing left for Round 2. This time we’re cutting out the foreplay, turning her round and going straight for the Theatre of Dreams. Then we can move on to getting a spanking from the Aussie bird.

| Hopefully now Wigan showed how much the Challenge Cup takes out of a team, and it clearly proves that it causes fatigue at the wrong part of the season the RFL may relook at the date it's played? It happened to us the last 2 years!

With all due respect, didn't you finish 10th in 2009? Can't blame that on the CC...

| As much as I'll be delighted should Wire finish top, the fact remains the RL champions have generally, over the history of the game, been decided by an end-of-season play-off system. I have probably posted this before, but since WWII, Wire have finished top of the table 5 times, but only been crowned champions on one of those occasions (1955). Our other two 'championships' came from finishing second.
I'm not saying I agree with this, but, since the 1940s, the table-toppers have only been the official champions from 1974 (ironically the year after Wire last finished top...) to the start of SL III.
But, anyway, balls to history, and let's have the Wire top of the league tonight - will be ace if it happens.

| Tonight has been a memorable night. Incidentally my french/polish neighbours now have a much better knowledge of English swear words as I got a little tense at Ganson at various points tonight.

Who told you to think like that? Sky? The Rfl? It's up to the fans to decide what's important and what's not.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

With all due respect, you're missing the point. He's not blaming a crap league place in the CC, rather, that it takes juice out of the tank. That makes sense regardless of where you finish.

Isn't it going to be in July next year due Wembley being used for the Olympics?
