| Personally I'd like him gone he ain't done enough for me, but with allegedly no more signings how is that going to impact on us up front. As I said before one bad injury to Chris Hill and we are up the creek.

It's a bungalow because he gets tired walking up the stairs.

Yeah I heard it took him longer than 15 mins to get up his stairs, so he opted for bungalow,, but 160.000 a year for 15 mins a week game time!!! He will be going back skipping as he goes,

Good for you. I'm looking forward to the waste of skin's contribution in a Wire jersey.
I REALLY am perplexed as to why the thread existed, in the first place.
The biggest thief of a wage, since that ar53part Andy Currier.
Let's swap the waste of skin for something more useful.......
Ashtray on a Harley Davidson
Glass hammer
T1t5 on a fish
you get my drift

| People keep asking if he will stay or go but in an interview with smith awhile ago, he said he's not been offered a new contract and doesn't know what plans he has for next year. So why would he suddenly re-sign him? There's been loads of props bopping about free that have been signed all over super league, so they were available and we did nothing. If smith had a prop on his shopping list he would have got one by now. Unless he has had a prop lined up all a long and just hasn't announced it yet then I'd say Westwood or Harrison to prop and Ben Evans back in the fold and that will be it for next year.

| I'm generally wary of stats but look at big Roy's contribution to any game at random and you'll see damning evidence of a workrate that would make Father Christmas' working year seem like slave labour. On the other hand, open your eyes, pay attention (blink and you'll miss it) and watch him "in action".
He may well get quick PTBs but when you're taking the ball up half a dozen times a match that's hardly an advantage. Allayed to this, he never promotes the ball in the tackle, when he does decide to pass he has all the ability of a RU flanker after a lock-in in his local, he has the stamina of a pound bakery season ticket holder and is about as vocal as a mute monk during a vow of silence.
Think that covers it. I'd rather put Kevin Penny on a lard and KFC diet for 6 months and line him up at no.8 next year.

| Players take time to settle in the modern game. We will really only get to judge him at the end of his 4th year.

IF we were signing a top of the range British or Antipodean prop it's perfectly plausible that the guy involved and his current club would rather keep it to themselves until after their season is over. Not that I'm expecting news of a big signing (despite a rumour I heard a few weeks back), but just saying.

| Isn't part of the point of having a quick play of the ball that it comes on the back of having made metres and left the defensive line scrambling a bit? This has never ever ever happened when Roy has had the ball in hand.

Foolish, Wires71, very foolish.
For a poster who's attention to detail is very good, you've lapsed on this occasion.
You omitted the zero between the 4 and the t.
I'd've expected better from you.
