After all, we have to beat the top sides to win the trophy, and in the semi-final we would have home advantage so why not give yourself the best chance of knocking out the best side when you're at home.
So pick Saints.'" )no chance.................Lets play them in the final,After all they have lost the last 3...

to Leeds. We won one in 2006. In fact, we've won five overall in the Superleague era (if you include the pre-Grand Final championship comp). So we are capable of beating teams in the Grand Final. Just not Leeds, for some totally unknown reason.

If as you say we win on Friday and Wigan Win, then we are guaranteed to be at home in Week 3.
Wigan will pick the winners of the Leeds v Hudds or Crusaders, or the Saints v Hull or HKR games.
Whoever Wigan pick we're at home to the other

| Am I right in thinking that if we beat saints and crusaders beat Huddersfield, it would be saints v crusaders and Leeds v a team from hull. As the highest placed loser faces the lowest placed winner.

| Yes I think so.
Unless Wigan lose in scenario, which case they'll get Crusaders and Saints will get one of the Hull teams.

pretty much.. highest place loser (1v4, 2v3) plays lowest place winner IIRC (5v8, 6v7)

| Quote: wanderingwire "So even if we do beat saints. We could quite easily end up playing the semi at KR!!! If the top 4 are in the mix for the semi's, it will be an interesting call for Wigan.'"
That can't happen. If you win on Friday you are guaranteed a home semi-final in week three. The only team you couldn't play is the winner of the first (only?) Wigan Leeds game as they would also have a home semi-final.

| This is being made much more complicated than it has to be!
It really isn't that difficult and it is really only the club call bit that complicates things.
Week 1 of the playoffs means home advantage for the highest placed finishers, and week 2 also means home advantage for the highest placed finishers.
However, after week 2 the only advantage for highest placed finisher is the club call choice.
Week 3 is not concerned at all about where you finished in the league.
The winners from week 1 both have home advantage against the winners of week 3 whoever that may be.
So basically if Warrington win tomorrow night, then they have guaranteed home advantage in week 3, whoever they play.
Here is an excerpt of the week 3 scenario:
Week 3
Two matches again, losers eliminated from each, winners go through to contest the Grand Final.
Qualifying Semi-Final One Highest ranked QPO Winner v Club Call selected PSF winner
Qualifying Semi-Final Two Second ranked QPO Winner v Club Call Non Selected PSF Winner

Prior to week three the highest placedwinners from week one in the competition will announce whom they have chosen to play. They will choose from the two week two winners.
The other two teams left in the competition will face off in the other semi-final, again with the highest placed side having home advantage. The winners will meet in the final at Old Trafford.
