| Some fella in front of me in the East Stand was slagging King off for his 70 yard burst from defence calling him "useless" as he should have finished the try! Thought it was a great break and took the pressure off us myself.

| I'm missing something with Monas tbh.
He threw 1 pass that went to them (although we got a penalty as he was offside), he also turned the ball over with a schoolboy error of just throwing the ball when he was getting tackled. He also missed a shocker of a tackle for one of their tries.
For me he was very poor, and I am stunned he is being considered as better than Briers, Westwood or Carvell who were three or four levels above everybody else on the field IMHO.
Monas did a couple of nice things when we were completely on top, but there is always a bad mistake just round the corner with him.
I am getting more and more impressed with King, and he now looks like the most dangerous player on the field for us when he gets the ball. The problem is we don;t have a left sided half to feed him the ball.

| I thought Mike Cooper did everything that was needed today. Didn't try to win the game with every play, did the basics well and kept going making an impact, especially considering the length of time he was kept on.
With Wood's injury Cooper has the opportunity to stake a claim for replacing Rauhihi in our first choice four props for next season.

And what about some of the mistakes he made?

He was excellent again.
What's great with him is what you allude to, he plays within his limitations, plays to his strengths, only knows one way forwards and just makes tough metres with every carry.
His improvement this year has been tremendous to see. [size=75(Unless you're Steve Pickersgill)[/size

Apart from his try of course.
Would you agree with me that Briers was outstanding in the 2nd half?

I'd probably go with 13 other ahead of him, maybe I'm just missing something, but I for one can't wait for Clarke and Higham to be back.

| I'm actually hard pressed to put forward a MOM. Most pleasing was Westwood releasing himself into the game in the second half.
