All very interesting. Please don't forget that I wasn't starting a rumour, just looking for views and a bit of debate. The only reply that bothers me was that from Bombhead wire who seems to think that we should ignore various sources of income and just rely on the wealth of Simon Moran, a very dangerous thing to do. We need to maximise all forms of income, anything that Mr Moran puts in should be treated as a very welcome bonus.

Id love it if Dave Whelan let us use the DW stadium then the money would go to him and not wigan warriors

Anything that takes money from Saints is fine by us Wigan fans. What we don't have we won't miss, but don't let your Wigan hatred cloud your judgement.

Whelan would charge you top dollar (can you afford it), or would you have to move your club shop , the one that was going to bring in an equivalent amount of revenue of a Wembley visit each season

Not sure saints can afford it. Might have to go to the HJ or Stobart, maybe St Pats will let you use their pitch for a week or two, they would be quite cheap.

So far as I know, we have to be out of KR at the end of 2010, regardless of where our new place is up to. And from what I have heard it is destination Widnus for the duration, pending fixture clashes, etc. We are due to be in our new pad part way through the 2011 season (but which part is anyone's guess just now).

There is a rumour that Pie eaters, Saints hating Wire fans and anyone from Leeds are to be charged a special exhorbitant rate for the privilege of looking at our brand, spanking new turf.

I was pointing out the fact that our pitch would get ruined and also that it wouldnt work if both clubs had home games on the same date.and also the fact most saints fans wouldnt like it. not to mention wire fans.

I said nothing about moran or turning down forms of income.

Attendances maybe ( though their gates are around the 7k mark this season ) but to say fanbase is ludicrous - I can`t somehow see 30,000 denizens of Sale trekking down the M6 to a major final somehow ...
