| I don’t get this ‘I don’t rate chase’ stuff. Any half back will drift in and out of games. He can’t control the entire game, as there are periods where they don’t have the ball.
We could have lost today. I never felt they were going to come back from 34 points adrift, but they should never have been that far behind. They should have scored at least three before half time and Chase was the creator of each of the chances they bombed in the first half.
Then in the second half he was as good as I’ve seen this season from anybody. What he did for Youngquest’s second try was worth the entry fee and 50 mph M62 journey alone. He was absolute class today, brilliant, and I’d love to see him in wire jersey next season.

This. We stood off and let him play in the second half.

Even if that were true, and I'm not saying we did, but he didn't take the invitation to play.
I can’t believe anyone who was there today didn’t walk away from that game thinking how well he had played, I honestly can’t, I don’t understand it, it doesn’t make sense, it’s crazy.
Sorry to go on.

| 1905 - For some reason a lot of your fans & Wigan fans don't seem to rate him that highly. Maybe its because he doesn't perform as well against the top sides, but maybe a lot of that is down to the side he plays in. Kind've hope he plays really well for the remainder of the season and a bidding war opens up.

I thought he has signed for Hull FC and was moving to them in the close season?

Mummy duck is now thoroughly depressed. SHE was the one that was famous for losing five in a row........until the 2011 GF!!!!!: |
|
| From what I could here on the radio it wasnt Chase who changed the game but the introduction of Danny Orr.

That's because Orr is probably the only name Graham Lovett could pronounce correctly.
I'm completely with 1905 on this and thought Chase was brilliant and at times un-playable in the second half especially. If Hull can harness his talents into a structured game plan then he could turn them from perennial under-acheivers into serious, genuine contenders. I wish we had been able to sign him when we tried.

Eh? Any half back worth his salt should be looking to control the game from the off and direct his team around the park.
I don't think anyone here doubts the ability of Rangi Chase - just his consistency with it. That's the issue.

| And attitude
Rangi i don't want to leave NRL and go to England
then no one wants him so he changes his mind
Rangi i've only ever wanted to play for New Zealand
but they don't want him so he changes to England
Rangi i really love it at Castleford, play out my days here
but want's to sign for a club at full cap like Wigan or Hull.
Commits crimes, and retires players for the season, no thanks not even if he is man of steel.

| I thought he was going to Hull as well - obviously provided the full England international can get the required clearance, but that's a seperate farce - but if it isn't definite and we can get him, I definitely would.

| The "Chase to Hull" move hit problems due to changes in VISA legislation in recent weeks.

| Chase is a quality player in a position where there isn't a lot of quality about.

Yeah, I’d like you to have Briers for the next ten years too! Another good choice hombre. I'd let him cut the grass, he's nowt else to do these days.
Rock 'n' Roll.
