Leeds have been good and Wigan have been awful. It's not beyond Wigan at this point but they need to be a lot better with the ball and close Leeds down a lot faster.

Ratchford and austin will be swapping around. Austin defence has been fantastic since the restart. Good call this and strike players like ashton are likely to be key in these conditions. Kick chase is going to be important. Expect kicking in to space for Ashton and mamo to chase.

We're going to struggle here. Dread to think of the amount of drop ball. King and Ratchford one handed carries. Ashton under a high ball. BMM isn't the greatest protector of the ball either. Attacking kicks to the corner are going to suffer too. Ah well, we can't just be a fair weather side. Have to prove ourselves in all kinds of conditions.

Started to go backwards too much after starting well. You can't run sideways in this weather. Missing Linehams size coming away from our own line.

Well we started really well then came up with too many errors. Ashton with a couple of poor moments in defence but looked really dangerous going forward. Currie was pushed over playing the ball and they get the ball for a knock on! They made a truly horrific restart near the end and nothing. Tykes attack on ratchfords knee was awful. We deserve the lead but Salford will be happy to be 6 behind, safe to say we need to sharpen up a bit second half. Hill has been great so far.

You'd expect Salford to get a bit leggy around the hour mark, a few of their forwards played midweek and the conditions are energy sapping. I'm hoping we are holding Ratch back and he, Clarke and Walker will start to get some cheap yards and momentum.

We need to play the game in their half and wait for the errors and fatigue to come.
