One would assume a design is already agreed with such little time left for the club to make use of Xmas and preseason sales.
Then one would assume that a specimen shirt had already been made for final proof....
One would then assume there is your one shirt for demo....UNLESS there's something wrong with it....
Which then discounts that the club is waiting for delivery!

My effort wasn't sarcasm, it was a straight forward attempt at light-hearted humour. If you didn't find it funny then that's cool, not every joke can land - I'll try harder next time.

I didn't mean to offend you asking if your comment was sarcasm. I just thought it might be, as you called out the fact the shirt isn't being revealed tomorrow as "The club still looks to being run dumb."

I just thought that was perhaps a bit of an over the top comment to the fact that the club hasn't released the shirt by Novemnber 10th, when other clubs are also yet to release their shirts, hence why I assumed you were joking. Apologies.

...and I don't think it's harsh. Imo Wire have shot themselves in the foot. In the past I've had a shirt bought for Xmas. It'll be something else this year. I won't be buying one myself. My one shirt won't hurt the club but multiple examples won't help.

I'd have info posted everywhere about the finished design and sell a special shirt gift card that will be redeemed for your order...yes I'm sure they sell gift cards...I mean a specific shirt redeem card.

Neither have other clubs, just because we have released our shirt for the past few years on this date doesn't mean we have to, nor do we have to announce that we are 'not' revealing our shirt at the lights switch on.

My guess is the sponsor is holding things up, either their are a few i's that still need crossing or they are sorting out the PR release for the new sponsor before they reveal the shirt.

I'm sure you'll be able to have your shirt wrapped up and under your Christmas tree in plenty of time RD.

I'd be astonished if the sponsor was the reason why it has not been released yet. I think people are getting carried away with the fact that has not been launched yet, it is most likely to be all ready to go and the club have a marketing strategy in place.

Wolfie was wearing a horrendous thrown together version of the wire kit at the switch on (the sponsor was Warrington market btw). Obviously the sponsor is not in place yet

Just saw that on 16 Nov Birchwood shopping centre are having an Xmas Bonanza.
Westwood and Atkins will be there to present "our signed framed Warrington Wolves shirt"

So looks like the shirt is ready to go if the various sponsors are getting them this week.

Passing yesterday so went in to the club shop and asked. Shirt and sponsor are both sorted but they don't even have a sample of it yet. Weren't allowed to say much but said it will be on sale in December

I suspect that may be the signed 2017 shirt that they couldn't get rid of for free on Shpock.

Wolfie has been sponsored by Warrington Market since the opening of the new market earlier this year. The kit has been worn by Wolfie since then.
