There is a wave that has been hitting British Grounds in the past couple of years. Ultras. Now, don't see the word and be terrified of Italian skinhead knife wielding football hooligans, that's not what being an Ultra is all about. British Ultras are sad, boring groups, focussed with the sole purpose of making themselves look and sound stupid, have shoddy flag displays that are mostly ripped off from LFC or MUFC flags, their chants are football one's as well with names changed to suit. Ultras (Latin word deriving from ultrā, meaning beyond in English, with the implication that their enthusiasm is 'beyond' the normal. There are four key points to being an Ultra, all of which must be obeyed, these are:
Just shout "Wigan, Wigan, Wigan" when your winning.
Refer to all players by their first name as if you know them
Leave with at least 10 minutes to go
Troll on other message boards with a sad avatar and signature.

No insult at all. Just telling you that you aren't an "ultra" and it's quite sad that you think you are.

you are making me cringe, if i ever start doing this i hope somebody has a word with me.

its certainly a lesson in how to make yourself look like a complete weapon on the internet.... give yourself a load of 'ultras' associations and bounce around someone else's forum giving it 'were the greatest club in the world'.

Let's make a rule. Anbody who arrives with an ultras avatar. We respond with this.

Tell me what it was like for the mighty Wigan when they were in Division 2 - you see unlike the "most successfull Rugby League Club in the world" (though Brisbane Broncos may have something to say on that %age-wise...), Wire have never been relegated...
