If you would actually look into why we have signed Gelling, he was recommended to Wigan by both Dean Bell and Kevin Iro and Wigan had been watching him for quite a while. Oh and the average age of the Warrington squad* is currently 26 Wigans being 25, Hmmm massive difference

Isn't it true that Wire have the most players over the age of 30 in superleague? Over twice the number that Wigan have. In fact only Leeds come close with eight.

And add to that they have one of the least number of home grown players.

You struggle to produce young talented player's so you have to buy in other teams?

It's a nice point for a p*ssing contest ours is better than yours for Wigan fans but in real terms it means bugger all.

People say we have an old squad and we buy players in. So in theory when the oldies retire we may still buy old very good players, there's no panic here, money talks in the world of capitalism and we have a man rolling in it.
