| Still got a big role to play this season.
He's missed ten games so far but is scoring a try every 2 games which is a decent strike rate.

| Sorry to see him go.
He hasn't fulfilled his potential yet and thats why I would have kept him.
Unfortunately it seems like he doesn't get on with a couple of our other players so maybe its best for both parties that he departs.

| I'll be sorry to se him go tbh, I love the way he plays the game, always hunting for a big shot and chipping in with a good few inportant tries along the way. Very nice bloke too. Good luck Louis and thanks for the excitement.

| Sad to see him go, always rated him as a player (or should I be saying that he's lazy now that he's leaving?).
I'm sure that Trent will be just as good if not better though.

| Quote ="JWP"He's been good but not great hasn't he.
He's a bit like going to the Toby Carvery - Louis, you're fine with what you get at £5.99, sometimes it's better than others, veg seems fresher etc, saves doing the dishes and all that, if they bumped the price upto £12.99, fark off.
If Louis has found someone who's happy to pay £12.99, fair play to him.'"
Fair comparison that JWP. If he is getting better money elsewhere for his services then that is fair enough, I certainly wouldn't want us to pay over the odds for a player like him as he is replaceable. Although I've got to admit I will miss the toughness and bits of biff he brings to the side. The bustling runs complemented with a reasonable amount of aggression he had in his game was important to us at times, he is a tough competitor and I've never seen him take a backward step during his time with us and in time I could of seen him potentially develop into a prop forward if he put more bulk on him, he [icould [/iof been a good replacement for Morley/Carvell in future years. Saying that as second rowers come he was ideal to our style of play as he has a decent offloading game and has good hands for a forward (played at Hooker in the past). However he was prone to odd error and shooting out the line, but generally if he made a mistake you knew a good shot/run was only on the horizon. Under Tony Smith he really came on leaps on bounds like a lot of our players, his performances become more and more impressive and he cemented his position in the side especially since Smith took over in 2009. One of his most memorable moments was his try last year against Catalans in the semi final of the Challenge Cup he was on fire that day and grabbed a couple of quality tries.
This year though he has struggled with injuries and missed quite a lot of game. If you would of said to me "Who would play more games for us this season Solomona or Landerson?" I would say Landerson every time. And while Grix has managed to stay fit and plug away in that left second row position Grixys performances have been very impressive this year, along with the signing of Trent Waterhouse, so I'm not too disappointed about Landersons departure as we have good cover. Good luck Louis Anderson and all the best, thanks for the memories. ![CHEERS icon_cheers.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_cheers.gif)

| I think that Louis Anderson has a lot of impact on opposing teams later on in games as it seems they cant cope with his style of play, he takes the ball in hard/very hard as default and hits just as hard as anyone on the field. Players just seem to become drained by the hits and runs he doles out to them.
I am quite dissappointed he's moving on as I think he is only gonna get better, will be interesting seeing him collide with our big hitters in games next year. Not sure where the rumour of him not getting on with others in our team has come from? Think its just pure rubbish personally.
Good Luck to him and all the best. Leaves us with loads of great memories from where i'm standing. ![CLAP eusa_clap.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//eusa_clap.gif)

| I have really rated Louis Anderson at Wire but having watched some one Penrith's games recently Trent Waterhouse is a big improvement on Louis, he drives the ball in hard and is always looking for the offload great attacking player will fit in well into your current set up.

| Really sad to see Louis going. Think he would get a lot better over the next couple of years, as hes only just 26. I absolutely love the Andersons ( even though it has a lot to do with them being easy on the eye ![Wink icon_wink.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_wink.gif) ) and I for one will miss Louis ![KISS icon_kiss.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_kiss.gif)

| Remember that tackle on Bailey early on in last year's CC Final that Mathers gets all the raps for? It was Louis who stopped him scoring.

| I think some of these assessments of Louis are harsh. I became a Louis Anderson fan over the past year or so, I used to think he was pretty average (I remember trying to argue that he was no better than Paul Noone) but I reckon he's pretty high quality.
Fair enough Trent Waterhouse is an upgrade but I think Louis has done well for us, he's one of the better forwards in SL.

| I'm gutted that Louis is leaving, always works hard IMO, when he has an off game i feel we do, let's hope Waterhouse is still in decent nick when we get him and he does offer atleast the same if not more than louis.
Thanks for some brilliant times LA, especially the CC Semis and finals, felt like i had scored that hattrick against catalans when he did.

When you look back at the try in a certain shot you can see Brent Webb's foot hitting Louis in his face. And what a nice face it is too ![ANGEL eusa_angel.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//eusa_angel.gif)

| heres a thought, next season, out of the 08 season mega signing spree, theres only monaghan going to be here. And at the time i and many people thought he'd be the oine most likely to bugger off home.

| I'm surprised he is getting some less than favourable plaudits. Powerful, in defence and attack, pretty good turn of pace, and knows where the try line is. Always enjoyed watching Louis play, he always had a big play in him when it was required.
I'm happy with Waterhouse as a replacement, so can't really grumble in that respect. In fact, I reckon he will thrive at Catalans where he will be expected to utilise his offloads more.

Fully agree with you on this.
Westwood gets a lot of plaudits (rightly), but Anderson has been 'the silent assassin' for some time. He's done well for us and I'm sorry to see him go.
Good luck Louis and thanks

| Quality player. CC 2010 run he was immense and for that he will always be remembered favorably with me.
I get the feeling he may come back to bite us. Young and is improving with age. That try against saints at Widnes this year was class,
