when the game got equal it started to get a bit of atmpsphere in there but it does help when there are quite a lot of away fans to generate the atmosphere

Seems to me there's more kids in the South Stand than anywhere else in ground. Think your analysis needs a review.

They are the best fans - must be, as the players go to them first at the end of a game, the bands always perform towards them and they are possibly the most knowledgeable fans within the ground. They also exhort the rest of the ground to Stand up if they love the Wire. So, that forms the basis of my theory.

Either that or it's the biggest stand.

Wigan game will taken care of itself am sure some of the stuff them ultras come out with will get things going even before kick off.

My mate is like the immovable object. We stand in West each week but given the nature of this match, I asked him if he fancied East or North to which he refused, outright! I then had the pleasure of being made aware in the club shop that I was about the 35th Wire fan to buy a ticket in the West. I'll never forget the look on the shop assistant's face as I punched my pin into the debit machine.

West stand if I go with Md or north if I go with father in law. Am in the south for wigan game. The south used to be rocking but its been in steady decline since 05 due the numb nuts who just want to drink and act the Jonny dynamite in front of their mates.
