What a nice thread.

nice one raymooooond. i might have spelt it wrong but last year at the final, there was a great atmoshere at the game. i remember getting the
train back to birmingham with a few hudds fans and we were all a bit ed. we had a great laugh about last of the summer wine characters
in holmfirth.( my mum has lived in honley for 6 years and plays bowls in the huddersfield league). good luck in the next round and
all the wire will be behind you no-matter who your playing.

Strange isn't it always had a great relationship
with the hudds fans one of my favourite
grounds to visit as well,used to be the same
with wigan fans until we beat them in the cc
cup semi final last season.

Instead of being the intermittant inconsistent
Warrington who had never beaten wigan in a
cup semi final before, we won , enter the hatred
and vitriol because we didn't lie down.

I work with a couple of wigan fans we have a
bit of banter as normal bit of fun and enjoy
talking rugby league nothing like the crap
spoken on here.

Proud of what Warrington has given us this year
Tony Smith said we were out to retain the cup
and a top 4 finish so job done we will try to
improve again next year i'm sure.

Good luck to all left in the playoffs as in the
weakest link 3 of you will leave with nothing
we just have to polish this trophy again for
another year

Same here - i love going to Wire - always a great day and your fans are a pleasure to mix with before and after the game - very very gracious in defeat and i agree about a bond between Giants and Wire fans , think its come from the fact we have both grown together to become major challengers in the SL.
Anyway sorry we had to end your season so abrubtly - you got your silver we'll have the other

apart from a few arrogant posters on here who,like sky sports and a lot of the other media,showed us no respect this week,i've never had a problem with any warrington fans,again last night they were great towards us and let us take over the railway club before and after the game with no hint of bother,there were even some fans outside the south stand who applauded us before shaking our hands and wishing us luck next week.i dont get how other fans manage to have problems with wire fans.

Its pretty sad..Its mainly Wigan fans they want a return to the old days when they could stroll games and have everything their own way...Anybody who dare's give them competition are arrogant and scum apparently...

but like i've said before if you go anywhere looking for trouble you'll get it, we go to warrington for a good drink,a good laugh with the locals and hopefully a good win,thankfully we got all 3 last night

i think even we were surprised at just how good we were,i think we were all slightly confident,but we never expected us to blow you away like we did in that first half,i thought our support was the best i've seen since last year at your ground in the semi too.

You go to wigan for a game and you will end up in a scene out of deliverence,

I certainly wasn't confident last week. I saw enough at Saints to doubt there was enough in the tank to win.
I stood in the Hudds end on Saturday. Cracking set of fans( even allowing for the W***y W***y chants lol).
Had a good chat with several fans before game, said you'd win and I wasn't wrong- well done.

As for us. Thanks Tony and everyone connected to the club for a wonderful season. the last 13 months have been sensational

was pleasantly surprised by your turn out,was deffo more fans than when you played us in may,i made a comment on your board before the game about the sky noobs saying warrington going through,knew this would comeback and bite us in the harris,well good luck you fully deserve it and would love it if you went all the way.

Well done to huddersfield was one of the most complete 40 minute performances you will see that gave us too much to do in the end. I tipped huddersfield as dark horses. Would not be surprised if you win on friday aswell. I will wear my warrington v huddersfield scarf from last years final when cheering you on
