Playing Penny at fullback and Matty Russell on the wing is the tactic Smith has gone for tomorrow, I'll be interested to see how the experiment goes.

If that was the case i imagine it's because he's bringing Russell back quicker than he'd like to.

I would guess, that Smith sees Stephan Ratchford as our first choice fullback, & is testing Matty Smith in an alternative position to see how he performs?

If we have Matty Smith in the team then we can ship out Myler, I'll be honest this news slipped under the radar, i bet Wigan are livid

Regardless of who has what starting position on the sheet, surely Russell will play at fullback.

Amazed to see we have signed Matty Smith, normally the rumour mill on here would have been talking about it for months.
