All games are graded, bronze, silver & gold. Whe went three years ago for a Saints game and it was £60 a head with a discount for season ticket holders, £10 for adults and £6 for juniors.......if my memory serves.

This kind of post really pi$$es me off. One persons poor experience can result in 100 people deciding not to bother with hospitality. By all means have a moan that the experience was not up to your expectations, but do it to the club directly and offer suggestions, I know that Andy Gatcliffe is always receptive to constructive criticism, give him a shout - drop him an email.

Expensive drinks ? Quelle surprise !! So is Wembley and Cardiff, not going to put me off from going
No programme ? I'm sure this would have been mentioned (provided or not provided) prior to your booking
Small meal ? Don't go to a Heathcotes establishment if you want a bellyfull - Toby Carvery is the place (take your own plate though !)

To redress the balance, I have paid for hospitality at the HJ for a variety of occasions and never been disappointed - always had value for money.

i've partaken in the hospitality & box experience on numerous occasions, no complaints from me! beer in a glass for a start, foods good & i got a programme.

I go most weekends in Hospitality and so far the Cats game was the worst. From what I can tell, depending on the size of the game there are seperate levels. For instance:

Leeds - Three course meal, free programme etc

Quins - One course meal free programme

Cats - One course meal and no programme

Should be in there for Celtic so will see how that goes but I think its a curry?

I'd agree with this 100%. I bet that the original poster didn't bother to contact anyone at the club with his complaint. As for expensive drinks, you know what you're getting before you go. If you don't want to pay the prices, either don't drink or don't go.

I've been a few times in the East Stand and the food has always been excellent whatever the package and the friendliness of the staff is always 2nd to none. The bar prices are no more than you'd pay in the concourses which I was happy with. I went to the Catalans game in hospitality and had a good experience, was speaking to Michelle and Rhys I think, who look after the hospitality side of things and they said they were doing new initiatives designed at making the packages more affordable to everyday fans. I paid 9.99 for an upgrade and wasn't let down, no programme but hey I didn't expect one for that price. I think for every package you can get £20 off if you're a season ticket holder which covers your match ticket which a lot of other clubs wouldn't do.

I think it's a clever initative aimed at filling lounges, by my reckoning there was over 200 in there for Catalans where as when I've been previously on occasions there's been about 70. Maybe everyone should at least sample the hospitality while there doing these deals, have a good afternoon out and make up your own opinion.

Sounds like "East Stand Hospitality is a success" would be a more appropriate thread title! I've dropped the "is a joke" anyway to allow people to make their own minds up. Constructive criticism is one thing, but we don't want to put people off trying it!

Sorry I didn't say did I, my experience was also good with a well presented and tasty meal, must agree not massive portions but it was good.

I did enjoy my families experience and my original post was regarding the cost not the quality, oh and we got at least two programmes each!!!!!

Wasn't trying to put people off just simply stating that it was a let down.

The guy on stage Pinnington was the biggest let down for his sheer wit alone.

But the club can read the comments and hopefully improve the service, happy days all round.
