Serious question, what's up with the little hats you always see Giants fans wearing?

it's weird, from the west stand you cannot hear a peep from the south for most of the match, get home watch it on SKY+ and all you can hear is the south, it's like listening to 2 completely different matches! i am aware that the commentary team are above the south but do they have extra audio kit set up in the south as well?

The South Stand probably houses the Club's biggest fans. Most of them in there have supported Wire for many years. Let's hope they can cheers us to victory against Wigan and can be the extra man we need.

when the game got equal it started to get a bit of atmpsphere in there but it does help when there are quite a lot of away fans to generate the atmosphere

Seems to me there's more kids in the South Stand than anywhere else in ground. Think your analysis needs a review.

They are the best fans - must be, as the players go to them first at the end of a game, the bands always perform towards them and they are possibly the most knowledgeable fans within the ground. They also exhort the rest of the ground to Stand up if they love the Wire. So, that forms the basis of my theory.

Either that or it's the biggest stand.

Wigan game will taken care of itself am sure some of the stuff them ultras come out with will get things going even before kick off.

atmos in the south gone in my opinion, actually said it to me mate on friday aswell, could here a pin drop at one stage, also a lot of fans getting carried away with the success, start moaning if we dont score every set, one went as far as calling hodgson useless as hes too light weight when he broke through but then dropped the ball, needless to say turned round and give him verbals.

This year is my last season in the South. I can't be bothered with how packed it gets. Great that we're selling out every other week but I'm 33 now, I'm too old for this Ben Cross. I'm off to the North with the posh people.
