I don't know about the moral iasues here, but I tell you it would make a great Rocky-style film.
Hugely talented kid with issues hits the big time (yes Saints fans I said the big time), gets the adulation then goes off the rails and quits the game in shame. Then he hits the streets training alone before the call goes out and he leads his former pals to glory.
Danny DeVito could play Sandow.
