| Great effort and no little skill from virtually all the players but that must be the end of Latu’s Warrington career.

| Quote: Kevin Turvey "Doro is streets ahead of Kibula for me. Longstaff was shattered by the end but is going to be an exceptional player - reminds me a little of Bateman. Dean and Thewlis also looking good. Could have won the game but a gutsy performance.'"
The QE2 turns quicker than Kibula seems to have no aggression for a big man, him Latu and brand are the only 3 I that can come out of that performance with some flack. The rest superb.

To be fair to poor Longstaff he had Paul Pauli picking him out to run over all night. Got knocked on his butt a couple times but generally stood up well. His only negative was over enthusiasm that eventually cost us the game really due to being offside which many of our team were most of the night to be fair. So close though. Thought we should have gone for the drop goal a bit earlier when we had 8 to go. Instead He drilled it down the short side and didn't find touch.

| Quality effort that from basically the under 21s. Definitely 4/5 really good lads there who can make the step up easily.
Delighted with that tonight.

| Have kicks to the corner gone out of fashion? We seemingly had 2 wingers over 6'4" tonight and I can't remember more than one attacking kick to the corner.
Probably sound like a grumpy old git. The lads were very good tonight, great enthusiasm shown by all the youngsters.

| Akuola can help carry Latu's bags for him. The pair of them should have been rallying the kids but simply couldn't be bothered. I know Akuloa was on the wing but where were the Lineham/King/Charnley forward relieving runs? Lazy sod.
.
Psychological and morale victory to us, if the first choice 17 show that level of commitment we have nothing to worry about.
Doro was superb but then, they all were.

| Wouldn't hesitate giving these young lads a run again soon. Josh Thewlis and Eribe Doro look ready for SL with a few of the other boys not far behind.
What the he'll did we sign Latu for? I'm quicker than him and I'm really old!

i was gonna say, i wasn't a big fan of walker, but recent weeks he's been a lot better with more responsiblity, and i thought he was fantastic tonight, couldn't fault him, probably helped riley dean.
Matt davis as well, i think he played about 60 minutes, which is big for him as a bit part player, he led the line very well as well.
Johnson had probably one of his better games for us as well.

| Louis Johnson seems to have been round for a bit but I dont really see much coming from him. Doro looks lively.

| Proud of the young pups, we had chances to win that game. Brand should be slotting in Sita all day with that pass on the 68th minutes, unfortunate.
Thewlis looks very composed and mature for such a young lad, very impressive performance from him. Walker, Davis and Patten stud up out there, considering the majority of the players haven’t played a game for 6 months they did exceptionally well.
Riley Dean, Doro and Ellis Longstaff really caught the eye also, pleasing to see.

| I think they allplayed well, thewlis, Dean and longstaff are my picks, all 3 were exceptional and have a bright future in the game. I thought brand played well overall but he really should have gone wide to sita for what would have been the winning score. If Dean grounded the ball early in the second half we would have done it.
We were gassed near the end and were very unlucky in a lot of areas. Great effort from the whole team again. Patton, Dean and walker organised us well. The extra fitness and size got Salford through in the end. Throw a couple of old heads in with that side say hill and hughes and we would have won it IMO. Not worth the risk though. If the returning players match the effort and work rate of these lads we will have no problem on Saturday.
