Smiff, the forum is likely empty because it’s not easy to use. It’s buggy and slow. 
I seldom post because of it. 
And given up posing on the wire yed comp because the screen goes before I get chance to edit the copy and paste. 

Yes good point rubber. I changed my shortcut to https://www.rlfans.com/viewforum.php?f=21 & it seemed to be better for a while. I find it worse from my phone. It does seem though that we get more on the forum when we lose.

This is my 3rd attempt of a post. 
They keep vanishing before I complete them. 


The forum is not fully optimised for mobile use them. I only use iOS mobile. 


It operates like a beta version. 
Even having to log in almost every time I revisit too. 


Still it may prove a hit with many on here as I’ve virtually given up using it.

The forum was working ok ish but it has recent gone down hill again. Whenever i go on it either on PC or phone, it always logs me out. And just recently the thread titles all appear in white whenver i'm logged in so i can't make out what it says (being white on white) 
Dare i say it we need something like Red Vee which has 100's of posts per day on a varierty of subjects. As opposed to our match thread that has about 3 replies.

Don't forget that Red Vee receives technical support from The Samaritans.


The variety of subjects include;

• Wello Out
• What's wrong with our recruitment?
• Lomax is finished
• Why is the world against us?
• Is it wrong that I fancy my sister?

Just contacted support and they say this is down to their hosts restructuring the servers.

I am still getting problems with getting all the posts up & find it easier at times to click on "last post" & work backwards.
I do wonder if the forum is now operated by sky whose coverage is also poor.

I do contact support for updates on various things with the site and they do reply in a timely manner but the place feels like it’s becoming a ghost town and seeing less and less of the regular posters. Am not sure how much longer it can go on like this before people just stop visiting at all.

I wonder if we should create our own forum outside of the RL fans framework. 


It is not difficult with a lot of hosted services available. 

A very low-key game on Friday night, but at least we won, Max Wood impressed again, and we seem to have come through it OK, apart from Fitzgibbon's weekly injury scare, of course. Seriously, the guy just seems unable to get through a game without ending up yelping in agony over something or other. When the players go out for a coffee, they should probably avoid sitting next to him, as he'll more than likely end up spilling scalding liquid over his nads.

I think his body is telling him that it is time to retire. I remember it well ... but he looks worse than most. If he gets through until the end of the season it will be a miracle. Knee/ribs/back & his shoulder has been a problem for years.
