Salary Cap basically means Tony Smith cant get the players he wants out unless you find someone to take them and most clubs are probably full on the cap.

In my opinion you can write this season off even at this early stage.There's going to be plenty of more defeats like today's this season beacause Tony Smith isn't Paul Daniels.He needs time to sort this rabble out + that's what the fans have to give him.Saying that the present sh$te should be ashamed of themselves for the current situation.

Same old same old trash on here after every game. We get the point and we know changes are needed but they aren't going to happen over night, it will take time whether you like it or not. Either get behind the team or shove off because the club won't go forward with fans that moan moan moan.

Yeah - tbh Tony Smith is probably the right man to sort your team out but with no pre season and apart from Mathers no input so far into the players in the squad his hands will be tied. I would expect you lot to improve a bit this year but I think this could be a painfull year for you with big improvements coming next year.

I didn't mean get off the forum it would be impossible to get rid of all the rubbish on this board, i meant basically going against the team all the time isn't going to help them, they need our support to progress.

are any of you lot prepared to admit that sacking cullen was the harsh? It is now bwcoming evident that no matter who is in charge, you appear not to have the players / team spirit. Cullen got a similar team to the play offs whereas lowes / smith cannot.

spot on we have players good enough but i feel they don't to play in our beloved colours so drop them and give the kids a crack in reality we won't make the play offs imo so why not give them some game time i for one wouldn't mind paying to see effort even if we lose rather than no pride and a defeat

I know this may be slightly off topic, but it is not all doom and gloom at warrington, its only the first team that are making a mess of things, you have a very good junior set up the reserve side is one of the best around and people making the academy this year are definitely the best youngsters around and I can say this having played against a fair few, so maybe not now are wyre going to challenge but when it comes round to reapplying for licenses, if these quality young players are given a chance maybe you will eventually succeed. Maybe......

Lowes did get us to the play offs.

Anyway that is totally irrelevant, this is going to be a long term thing for us and it will last until the end of the season.

So, what's the alternative?

Don't go at all and save your money, like I have done.

Cullen leaving was a good thing, at least with Tony Smith you can see things changing. With time Smith will improve our team, Cullen wouldn't have done.

No what he's saying is you can moan all you like but the fact of the matter is that Tony Smith has only been in the job a short time so you can't expect miracles so the truth is that it's going to be 1 bumpy ride for the rest of the season.If coming on here venting your frustration is the only way to let off steam so be it but just accept it that he needs time.

No as they arnt good enough.

the problem is the first team players on paper can do the stuff on the pitch but only when they feel like u can see they dont give 100% it would be a different team if they went back to winnjing pay etc,then they would try a bit moe..

the thing is they dont like hard work when it gets to hard or they fall behind they just give up.

Plus god knows what they were doing while lowes was in charge in training looks like naff all as there unfit and havent a clue.its going to take a long haul to get this team fit and able to get back up the league and stay.
