| Hmm wouldn't be bothered in the slightest if Williams went. I know it's pie in the sky and some would say star signings are the problem (only if they're the wrong ones) but I'd go all in for Cleary. I know there's no chance but the point is to try and sign one or two senior players who can absolutely drive quality standards throughout the club - because it's certainly not the board or coaching staff likely to do that. Saying that were we to sign Cleary we'd probably give him every other weekend off to see his girlfriend and by the end of his contract he'd have developed a beer-gut, be kicking out on the full with regularity and been dumped by Mary Fowler.

Josh Charnley….running down the wing ‘Charnley’…
Hopefully not, he won't improve on the wingers we currently have, even just until the end of the year. Which wingers have we got, that are fit, there are as effective as Charnley? Both the Thewlis' are about as effective as charnley, Wrench and Tai on the wing would be about as effective, and the weird decision to play King on the wing is as effective. Charnley although has some great individual trues scored the vast amount of his tries due to his centres and some really easy tries anyone could score. I could be wrong but i've always thought he's a bit overrated. As for Williams i doubt he'll be going the NRL or Catalans. Might be wrong info but i've heard his wife/partners Dad has cancer, so i very much doubt she would just pack up and leave the country?

He gets decent yards on kick return, still has reasonable pace, and is solid defensively. To compare him to King or Tai as a winger is not credible in my view.

| Charnley would just be taking game time away from Thewlis Jnr and / or Wrench. I don't think his signing would be the difference between us making top 6 or not so I don't see the point in it.

| We should be worried about clinging on to finishing 8th. Hudds and Cas could reel us in the way we're playing.

| I just knew we’d do something ridiculous like try and get Dodd….and I’m hearing that is one line of enquiry. God we’re pathetic.

No big surprise really IMOGeorge initially left the NRL whilst playing some really good footy at the time for family reasons Up step the Warrington Wolves to give him is big pay day, But albeit a short term return to SL Georges family issues are now resolved and it's back to the NRL he goes In reality has his short term deal been successful for the club? IMO he's purely used us as a well paid, stop gap, but a high salary paying club, until his family circumstances changed When George has been good then he was very good,But have we had value for money from signing him? Not IMO

Not IMO He's done nothing wrong. Down to the club how much they pay him. But, as a marquee player, I don't think he has delivered on value. His good games are getting more scarce and he does seem to "go missing" when his good game is desperately needed. Our best performance this season (Leigh CC semi) was with him out of the side. Wish him well but won't be losing sleep.

| I think he's been one of the best players we've had in a long time, not enough quality players around him and a constant lack of forward power every single year is a big issue. We rely on him too much to drag the team along all the time. When he does go he goes with best wishes and i hope he does well over there again.
