Middleton will uncouthly mention how much money he has personally invested in the club yadayadayada. He’ll mention how tirelessly KFP works and all the unseen work that goes into putting a man in green Lycra to sprint about before lobbing some laundry in a washine machine whilst our best young talent is sold to clubs in the fast lane as we play an atrocious brand of heartless rugby league.
We were more successful and made better signings BEFORE he joined the board in 2015.

| I've said it for years. We need to get rid of fitzpatrick. And we need to give the world to get Andy gatliffe back as ceo.
Maybe we should take a step back. Let's see of tony smith wants to give it a cracking again. He stepped away because he didn't like where the game was going. When he came back. He was turning hull kr into the team we know today. But their upper management didn't like the way he was going about it. Step in the current management set up to complete what smith had started. When he went to hull. He was slowly bringing them round and turning the corner. But didn't there board get tired of waiting. I think given half a chance. Tony smith can do the job for us again. Give him the team he wants and give him a director of rugby who will deliver the players he wants to again fight for the title. I think behind the scenes.what bought us down was agar trying to undermine smith and trying to take control. And a power struggle ensued to ensure that we had a massive downfall. Just look at the next season. Steve price give us a decent season. In tony smith we trust.

They are woeful stats i have to agree, i am braced for what i am about to say but i don't mind Powell he speeds the play up when he comes on, his passing off the ground is good. Yes i know he threw one into nowhere on Saturday on their line but that's just one instance. He does need to add some running into his game 100% but i feel he's got some flak on here recently. Defending wise he's solid no complaints, passing wise he's on the money it goes right where you would want it when taking the ball in.
Well, defending and passing the ball accurately from dummy half are fairly fundamental aspects of a 9's role and I think virtually every hooker in the game can tick those boxes and has done for most of the last century.
For a bloke who has played half back I'd expect him to be able to lurch forward for the odd yard gain but he's too old to change now.
Walker's return can't come quick enough. We've missed him more than any other player, inc. Williams and Sneyd. He can do all the above, and has a great running, support and kicking game. And he's got some fire in his belly.
In his absence, Harthill should have been in.
Completely agree, they are fundamentals of the game and some can do them better than others. You can throw Harrison in at hooker because he can pass and tackle but that doesn't make him good at hooker. As for playing Crowther there and not using Hearthill i have no idea! frustrates the s**t out of me that we don't use them young lads who are working their nuts off to gain experience like this.

I think we just need a competent, proven CEO with experience of successfully delivering in a professional competitive sporting organisation. An individual with a strong vision and character, gravitas and business acumen. Someone who can identify the dysfunction in the organisation, design and enact a turnaround plan, set long terms goals, targets, and standards of professionalism. The CEO will be empowered to take the role by the scruff of the neck and not be a puppet "yes man" to the board. I would also like to see some additions to the board with a bit of diversity and some fresh faces to bring in new ideas. It's stayed pretty much the same for 15 years. Maybe some non-exec appointments. ~ In terms of coaching I would be sounding out McNamara right now. I mean Sam is lining up other jobs so we can have no issue with lining up his replacement. McNamara as a coach has had national and international experience (assistance head coach in the NRL, coach of the national side). He has won a Challenge Cup, League Leaders shield and made 2 Grand Final appearances in recent years.

Off the field ... I don't know who really makes the decisions. Not really into sacking people (especially the daft idea of sacking everyone) and would prefer to work with people & the next person in might be worse.. Question. Why should being employed by Warrington Wolves be any different to being employed by any other private sector company? If they worked at IBM, for example, based on performance Fitzpatrick and Chambers would be out of the door by now, as would several of the players and Burgess would be on a competency assessment. But apparently you get a free pass if you work for us? Sorry I haven't a clue about how ruthless IBM is? Might be on dicey grounds for dismissing staff if there was a high percentage of injury within their the workforce. That well know phrase "mitigating circumstances" might be mentioned. So you believe there is mitigation for the way the club as been run for a good number of years now. 20 years of mitigation perhaps. Im not buying injuries as we were poor with a full side out from the get go this year. It is indisputable that we have had the finances and facilities to compete with the top clubs for 20 years and yet failed to establish ourselves as one. We nearly did it under Smith but since then it's been a steady spiral downwards. 1 challenge cup in 13 years for countless millions in full cap spend and big name signings. Whats makes it all the worse is that we are a perennial laughing stock. There should be an outcry of alarm bells ringing around the HJ over the fact that a team, who were only promoted to SL in 2017, are going to win a Grand Final before us given how much we have spent. It’s damning that is. I was saying to the gf (Wire supporter) this weekend, that it's arguable two clubs (HKR & Leigh) who have recently spent time in the Championship have progressed past Warrington.

I'm sure, judging by their match report comment section, these questions will also be as censored as a Stalin-era photograph!

| This PROPERLY made me laugh! I’ve submitted my 2 questions, these will defo be ignored in favour of “when is the new kit out” and “who really IS the wire flyer”, but I’ve asked:
(1) How/why did Karl get the CEO job (2) Do you think his reign since 2017 has been successful given we have only won 1 trophy?
As I said, I expect something like “what discount do season ticket holders get a discount on new Hoover washing machines?
