This is the sort of move that really angers me. I can't wait to see Whitehead becoming a top player at another club and then flicking the Vs at the Wire fans when he scores a try in front of us. What a waste of effort to develop a good player and then let him go to a rival.

If this is true and we re-sign Crowther then I’m done with this bunch. Burgess and KFP can absolutely do one. 

The same thought crossed my mind. 


On the positives - the lad gets a fresh start with a current top club under a quality coach. I wish him all the best. 

Unfathomable really. You can see Whitehead has hands and brains - but Burgess seems to prefer headless chickens that will aimlessly run their blood to water. Shameful. 

Flicking the Vs at the directors box more like. Us fans would be more than happy to give him a chance, it's not our fault. 

Heard we've accepted an offer from hull kr for Tom whitehead. No doubt burgess is freeing up cash to extend crowther. Livid about this!!

I thought he had skill and the last few times I saw him he worked hard & looked tough. I surprised we've not seen him a bit this year ... and no idea why. I think Burgess does seem to like the headless chickens ... but don't really know all the ifs & buts.

If Crowther is in a Warrington shirt in 2026 this tells you everything you need to know about our clubs ambition and direction. I'm not knocking the lad personally but I struggle to think of any other Super League side he would get into based on his ability. 

I’ve said it many times but Burgess’ love for Crowther is worrying. Crowther tries very hard but is extremely limited - which is what we appear to be as a side. Effort should be a bare bloody minimum.
