| Looking forward to the game. I have a feeling Wire are going to surprise a few with their performance and will push HKR extremely close. I think KR might just pinch it but Wire have plenty of guys with experience of big occasions, plenty of attacking quality and a coach, who I think will have used his side being written off to his advantage this week. Week to week, the level HKR are playing at is well in advance of Wire (and any other team) but in a one off occasion, I don't look at the sides and think it's a total miss match. The Wire forwards are going to need to be at their very best but if they can get in to the battle, there is enough quality to trouble KR. If he's fit enough, I can't help but think Williams is due a huge game in a final.

| According to Matt Turner on FB, Sam has confirmed that both Steph and Crowther will start on the bench, with the rest of the team "as expected".
To stand any chance tomorrow we have to do well in the forwards, and this leaves us light. I'd have gone with Wood and either Steph or Crowther, but not both...............

| Just seen that post and I am beyond p####d off. I called Ratchford for a bench spot for obvious reasons but what as Wood got to do to get a chance. I don’t recall him having ever let the team down when he as played.

| Did anyone hear that gurgling noise a moment or two ago?
Was the last remnants of my confidence going down the plughole.
Ratch, Crowther and Tai. Goodness me.
Going need to need more of the Bristol Cream I think.

| Feels like Sam has gone for the safe option. I just don't think we beat Hull KR playing it safe and have many player that are not 100%. My worry is this is going to be another embarrassment like last years CC final or Vegas.

I'm not sure that Sam has many options given the injury situation Walker Ashton missing and players returning after long enforced absence, or ahead of schedule. If everyone bar the two were 100% then he might have gone with Wood and Wrench although I get why there's a shout for Wood in particular. He's covering bases and thinks that this is his best shot for a one off. You just never know, Hughes at SO anyone, but no matter what happens tomorrow what I would like to see different to a defeat should one come our way, is the minimum feeling sorry for ourselves hangover. We can't write the season off

| As a Crowther supporter, I do find it weak sauce to not include Wood somehow. Ratch and Crowther on the bench smacks of knowing a few in that starting 17 are not confidently fit and he's sacrificing go forward to cover them pulling up. If they aren't fit don't play them, end of. Don't care if its Williams or Russell lol.

We can't write the season off Hughes was stand off and PATTON was scrum half, how the hell did we beat Saints in that game? Maybe lightning can strike Wembley twice for Wire, I can remember entering the stadium with a very heavy heart that day but leaving it on cloud nine.
