| I would be looking to get shut after Wembley. we won’t win super league as whoever was in charge of the recruitment for this year has left us woefully short and injuries are mounting.

| Is Mussy is a Dr Jeckell and Mr Hyde character? So it depends which character he is in while carving the meat up at the players BBQ.

| Hearing he wants to take both Williams and Walker with him, coincidentally, both players contracts are out of contract at the end of the 2026 season. We could have got a fee for Walker this season from Canberra.

| Musgrove has a fair old track record related to club disciplinary matters at every club he has played for before joining us (Souths, Wests Tigers and St George Illawarra). Last one being a scrap with a team mate while drunk after a game.
I wonder if that record has continued with us?

Walker is in contract until 2029 so we would still be entitled to demand a fee if he were to move. https://www.superleague.co.uk/article/4770/walker-commits-to-warrington

I stand corrected. Heard similar on Musgrove. Bust up with another player apparently. Told to stay away from training. Might not even be here next week.

From my chair I have become very disillusioned with Burgess this season, it feels like it’s been one big party and his attitude at times seems to have been poor. Not putting it all on him the club are implicit in a lot of it, the passport debacle the alleged parties fully unprofessional if true.
We were told that Big Sam was a leader of men, but I didn't realise that meant leading them down to the pub and/or off-licence!

| Heading to a completely new club as co-head coach and all that that entails, there is NO WAY he would be fully focussed on us despite what he would claim.

Exactly, it's human nature that as soon as you have a new job to go to, your focus on the current job is not the same - even if you were the experienced consummate professional. He'll be doing for Perth what he was doing for Wire when he was still assistant at South Sydney. He will also have all the issues of relocation to the other side of the world, family concerns etc. Nah, cut this short and wish him well. Be different if we were on the cusp of glory, but we aint.
