For me the margin was quite pronounced in the first half. Our pack was battered, coupled with the usual poor territorial kicking, we struggled with field position. |

I don’t believe our pack is ever truly battered….it looks to me like we play a rope-a-dope style against the good sides and hang in there and pick teams off. We SHOULD have picked HKR off and had Thewlis made it even then there was only one winner….but alas we didn’t.

Anyway we also get excited about beating Saints 4 times in a season and watching their decline. |

I think we levelled it up in the 2nd half and when Philbin and Vaughan were on.
In my opinion, for whatever reason, we looked dominated in the middle in the first half. Burgess himself talked about losing the physical battle*
I am surprised with a 93% completion for us. Shows how well thy defended. Oh well, all history now.
