| Beating them three times and losing a match like this is the most warrington thing to do. Hope we keep 13 men on the pitch and we don't slip up. Come on the wire.

I'm nervous about Saints too, but I agree with this really. Regardless of what happens this weekend, it's hard to see anything other than Wigan beating Hull KR in the final.

| Our team is fitter, better coached,
Preparation meeting ability is the formula for success.
There is no chance of getting beaten, unless Vaughan is the high tackling villain again.

| I'm not for once, Like Karetaker said, we've got the skill, coaching set up and a different mind set this year.
I'm not complacent or expecting to just win, but i think the steel Burgess has added and the loss in the CC still in mind, i think we'll turn up full force.
and with Vaughan back in the pack, it's a big boost for us.

100%. I really do get why people are nervous it’s the history and what one poster says it’s the Warrington way. That why I say it’s about mental attitude and application. So now with the coaching team we have and especially with Burgess having been there done in it he can Instill that attitude into the team, yes the cup was a blip and guess classed as the the Warrington way but I’d also like to think we have massively learned from it.
Given what I have seen of us this year and results against the 3 possible teams we can play I fear none of them, barring injury and disciplinary we can win it this year.

| Trust me, Saints are more afraid of us, than we are them.

| It would take a pretty big reversal of form for that lot to beat us but I'm pretty sure it'll be a closer game than the previous three.

We have managed just 5 wins out 31 vs St Helens at the Halliwell Jones Stadium* across 5 coaches and two decades.
2011
2016
2017
2020
2024
We are much better at The Totally Wicked stadium with 9 wins out of 16.
We will see.

| I think that our history and previous 'unreliability' has a lot to do with some of the 'nervous' thinking on here, that unease that to beat Saints three times is an achievement in itself, so four will be pushing it to the limit. I've no idea whether some of our collective thinking would be more positive if we were coming into this game 2-1 ahead with wins or even 1-2 where we'd have learned our lesson or been unlucky so it was our turn to put things right....
Of course we may get beat they'll have a point to prove and will be well backed behind the sticks but I'm expecting a tight game and a hard earned narrow victory as history is one thing but I trust this squad, the coaching set up and the spirit that Burgess has brought into the club NTW
