Assuming we finish 3rd, which looks likely, who do we want in the first round at home?
As it stands, we play Saints and despite recent performances, I wouldn't put it past them to turn us over. Especially as these days, we never know which team will finish with 13 men.
I would like Leeds, but with them playing Wigan and HKR away, I can't see it, unless one or both take their foot off the gas.
Salford, I think will finish 4th. That leaves Leigh, who could be pipped by Saints.
Personally, I would be happier with the Lobby-Gobblers, even though it would be a very difficult game.

I definitely fell for it, as it fit our established pattern of high profile/fad signings. In future I will wait for Abe. In the spirit of coming clean I must recognise that despite all his shortcomings KF was instrumental (so he tells us) in signing Ashton from Swinton so got to give him credit for that.

On the basis that this is a who do we want in the play offs thread I'll try and get us back on track. My choice is the winners of Wigan v Salford/Leigh

That actually makes me think though, going back to the nervous about Saturday thread. Wigan's reward for finishing first is a game against Salford, Leigh, or possibly a sixth placed Saints team who are just pleased to have got that far after the season they've had.

I expect Wigan to win that game with ease regardless of who it ends up being against. I 100% have them down now as being in the final. If we had finished first though, I would be nowhere near as confident and see it as maybe 55/45 in our favour at best.
