I'll stand by my interpretation since we first started mentioning names that Rowley would be the answer and not some NRL coach between gigs particularly as no-one sticks around long enough from Australasia once they twig the Manchester ship canal has banned surf boards

Surely if we want a coach getting the best out of an average bunch of players, then we should look no further than Applegarth at Wakefield?

Obviously out of their depth based on early season form and now arguably the in-form side in the comp, he's performing miracles there?

Disappointing that Holbrook has said no.

I don't think Paul Rowley would be a bad shout though given our options.

Got to say that Holbrook looks like he's led us down the garden path here. Surely he'd have known that his family would have said no if that's the issue.

I think Rowley typifies the type of coach that gets results out of a pieced together squad with a backs against the wall mentality. We need someone with the experience of restructuring an RL club to grand final success.

Didn't Michael Maguire do that at Wigan? I know people don't like his style of rugby, but we need someone who has experience of winning. I'm sure he'd take the job if we approached him.
