| Quote: number 6 "ok ill bite
game at kc, we played numerous youngsters and still beat your near full strength team and we were deserved winners!
game at hj, we handled the conditions better, just and you scored two fortunate tries
wembley, yes you were the better team for 60 minutes, but the game lasts 80!
you keep harping on that your better than us, but after 3 games and 80 minutes your 0 for 3!
you may win on friday, we may win but to say your the better team after 3 games and 3 defeats, well
While I entirely agree with you in most respects, including the ridiculousness of RD's comments, I think you might be exaggerating your prowess here just a little. Our 'near full strength team' had at least 10 players injured, including 5 of the first 17. Your own team was missing 6 of the first 17, I've not forgotten that (in fact both home and away we had 5 first team out and you had 6 out). Wembley was probably the closest we've had to a full-strength team all season.
Anyway, at the risk of sounding like a Wigan fan, I think our injuries have blown our chance of at least the LLS this year - Gidley, Sandow, Currie and Westwood all out on Friday as well as our long-term injuries like Dodds. Do we know which of them will be back in time for the playoffs?

I like this idea but Sky won't.
Sky cover SL because of resulting subscriptions and advertising revenue which is linked to number of games, not the love of the game.

| Quote: Hatfield Town Wire "I agree with RD I still think we have a great chance Friday , it won't be easy but all the pressure will be on hull. I will be backing us with a +8 on the handicap'"
Here's some food for thought - go back to just after the Wembley defeat, injuries to key players and nobody gave us a cat in hell's chance of beating Catalan but they turned in a brilliant performance against the odds with a similar makeshift team (with an actual winger in it too!). Taking the 2 games out of context, which of the 2 games would you would you rather go in to needing the 2 points? I suspect most would say Hull rather than Catalan. We managed it then, we can manage it now.
Yes we have injuries to key players, and the stakes are a lot higher but I'm backing the Wire to win tonight. Keep the faith, people.

| I have not thought about this game all week, infact this is the first real time i have been on here since the Wigan defeat as i have been that dismayed by the result. With a weakened team, up against a big team all i can see is a complete drubbing. Not one bit of emotion about the game as at the end of the day this game means nothing!!!!
In 2011 i thought it was great, experience tells you it means bugger all. If it was like football and you were to be champions then i would have likely have gone. Its all about the following 80 minutes and you could argue that finishing third is better for us as we play better away at Wigan than at home!

| Wire out to 3/1 and hull are 1/4 with sky bet.
Wakefield 8/1 against stains. £5 double wire and Wakefield pays over £150 !! For a bit of interest
