This. Sorry ghf but Patton has too much to prove, nowhere near a hb standard for SL for the heights we are aspiring too. If we can't get an A team together, I'd give him a season loan in the lower leagues. (I include GOB) if he doesn't get moved out permanently.
For sure he is not going to be a first choice hb here so why waste the coming dead rubbers just to prove it. Play whoever (excluding Gidley) will be a partner next season.

TS has been moaning that Patton's not had any game time since June because there's no reserve comp. There's no risk putting him in the side because nobody really cares what happens tomorrow.
