If true, I think that it's a shame that Paul Wood has gone, not because he was going to be in our first 17 week in week out, but, given his service to the club. I understand that it's tough 'out there' and he may have engineered the path to the exit door, but IMO he deserved to leave with a bit of 'dignity' if that's the right word? You know a bit of planning by all parties and an acknowledgment of a good career with us, a send off.

Is this as credible as the "Myler to Hull KR" story ?

I saw the Instagram post at the weekend regarding "Going to miss these" or something close to that. The rumours started on here later that evening. The following day the post was taken down and no comment from Club or Woody made.
Hopefully, there is a cooling off period and something gets resolved between whoever is involved. Would be a shame for his Wolves career to end this way.

He was nothing short of a liability last year. Great move by the club if we managed to get shut.

I'd go as far as saying he was a disgrace in the games I watched him in last season.

Paul Wood is the best player that came out of our youth system since Sculthorpe so he's not someone to be dismissed with a kthxbye approach.

For many years especially in the inconsistent DVDV and Cullen years, Wood was a model of consistency for us and stood up when the team was struggling.

He seems to have had a turbulent time off the pitch in recent years so I hope he is OK in himself and in his head.

But I would be very disappointed if he was not here next year? He should have been given a massive tribute and send off.
