Pryce has a presence about him and you could argue a case that St Helens haven't been the same since he left.

He has been offered a coaching job at Hull, could maybe still play for a championship team aswell. Maybe Donny and team up with Cooke again.

Horne has been in decline for a while, but when he came through he was about the best British halfback I can remember seeing at that age. He was a first team regular aged 17 and in that Shaun McRae team, before Jason Smith came along, Horne was their key player, at 17! Unbelievable.

Horne has had a decent career but I wonder if he played too much too young and it took its toll on his body, because he became a good SL player rather than a great, which his early talent suggested he would be.

There were quite a few promising halfbacks coming through at that time: Horne, Cooke, Thorman, Orr, Deacon, Briers. Briers was the only one that kept on getting better when the others plateaued.
