There are loads of funding opportunities available if they pull their finger out and look. Hold a fund raising night ie a race night, auction, sell advertising space. I'm thinking if it was a lock up that got torched the kit wouldn't have been left in there (it'd get damp/rot) - that's pretty much all the club need to provide to get a game on away at least.

Get inventive in training - i mean you only need a few balls and some cones really. In terms of playing - play away games until you can get the gear needed to host home games again.

Spur of the moment comment from a Club Secretary, when confronted by a reporter, who's just seen countless years of hard work from her, the members and kids go up in smoke. Hardly over dramatic.

Any club is what the people within the club make it but fund raising has become increasingly tough of late. Good luck to them.
