Thankyou, anytime somebody tries to tell me how good a player is by his ' stats' i now have a thread to point to for a counter argument.

I really rate him. Love the way he applies himself to the game, never goes hiding, very reliable and underrated player. Seems like a nice lad too.

Played on the same team as him at junior level, Longshaw street rangers. He was off a stick back then too. Really nice lad and I am happy he went on to do such great things.

Slightly mis-leading thread title. Whilst Riles can claim to be on a par with John, I'd hardly say he was 'up there' with Brian (even on this particular stat), given he's took twice as long as the Great Bev to the ton!!
