Quote: Horatio Yed "Seems to be the only guy that's not allowed to be injured in our team.'"
Section 4, parra 6, line 8 of Moz's contract states quite clearly..
" The player mentioned above hereby agrees never to get injured and will be available for all contracted matches"
To be serious though, Moz is not the player he was 2-3 years ago. He was arguably the best forward of his generation in the English game and in addition to his on-field play, must have done an enormous amount behind the scenes to help our juniors, and the club grow and gain success. But he is very close to retirement, and I really wonder if he will be here next year, or if perhaps he will be in Oz ?
He has definitely been missed during his injury, but this will also have had a benefit in that others will have had to step up and play a leadership role. Also it allows space for the 'squad' players and upcoming juniors to get a game, so it's not all bad news. Lets hope we can win one of the major trophies this year to give him a fitting reward, wherever he ends up in 2012.
