Yes we did, we de-registered a player who wasn't going to play again that season. Which is completely allowed within the rules, the problem in this Dobson case is that Hull KR intend to re-register him once fit again/Mason's new passport comes through. There is that rule (which has been posted on several forums, but I cba finding it) that states that exact thing.

But we never de-registered him either, he never played for us at all that year, so why would we both registering him in the first place? If you had a player out with a broken leg from before the start of the season, would you register him for the sake of it?
It's not the initially cancellation of Dobsons contract that's the problem (imo anyway), its the fact that they are doing so in the knowledge that they fully intend to put him back on quota as soon as Mason's new passport comes through.
