Quote: FireWire "9th place, perhaps to be tenth after this weekend if Catalans beat Salford by a decent margin.
If only Sinfield had missed that kick on Saturday would have at least taken points difference out of the equation which could well be the difference between making the playoffs and missing out.
Can only say good things about Che Smith's tenure so far, but did no one else expect to be a bit higher in the league at this stage of the season even after our poor start?
Still a Wembley final appearance will more than make up for missing out on the playoffs if it happens.'"
Not really.
It's all about pre-season for me, until we have one, with a proper coach, we're playing catch up to teams that did have one, with a decent coach. A pre-season & some recruitment, I'll be very hopeful for 2010. I've seen the improvement in some the fellas he's got, Cooper & Harrison, Monaghan, Mathers and such.
I've seen more half time turnarounds, wins not playing well & player enthusiasm under Smith than I saw in probably 3/4 years, so I'm happy.
I can relate to what's going on, I feel part of the journey under Smith, I felt remote to Lowes, the product he was offering me, didn't look or feel that enjoyable.
