| Presuming we stay in SL next year are there any recruits in the pipeline or anyone that we could realistically bring in?
I personally really rate Steve Michaels from Hull and it seems he is unlikely to stay there beyond this term.

| Mateo will go to Waky I think but not too sure about Burgess. His family is still in Aus and he still wants to try to get into the NRL which i really can't see. So if he goes we need two more forwards, backrower to replace Huaraki. 9 is another mystery whether we'll sign Tomkins and play him there or get someone else in I'm not too sure. We also need to take into account youth players coming through the setup as well especially Lewis Fairhurst who I can see if all goes well the 7 to replace Dobson.

| Not too sure with all the uncertainty....around SL survival, Koukash staying / going.
I'd heard rumours of Mateo to Wakey but not seen anything official.
Burgess is definately more suited to the standard of SL and cannot see him getting first grade footie in the NRL, but he maybe willing to step down to the minors if it means him staying with his family.....who knows.
Hooker is also a mystery I believe Kenny was only signed until the end of the season, Tomkins has improved and been going okish (is he worth an extension) and the lad from York is that still happening, apart from a snippet in the media nothing official from the club.
If Koukash is going and Sheens is seeing out his contract, i can't see us signing anyone and just "making do" with what have. Which is a big shame considering where we have come.
Can definately see Weller and Tommy leaving.

| I heard Marwan is off at the end of the year and that's why contracts where all short term.

| Contract were short as Sheens only signed everyone on a two year deal. Nothing to do with whether Koukash is staying or going.

| Incorrect if what I hear is right, read into Marwan being on his holidays at this crucial point, his spark has gone, he's had enough, expect a lack of signings & some players being announced as signed elsewhere.

| Binosh - Marwan signed a CVA for 5 years - also personally signed as a guarantor on the lease - be amazed if he walked away with those liabilities still live - think hed rather be in control.

| Whereas your logic makes sense, EB, there were several Leythers telling me on Saturday that they were confident he was coming on board there. Also I cannot see Saturday's result being anything but adverse for the already forecasted poor gate on Friday night.
I wish he would make it clear one way or the other.

| Fingers crossed Marwan does step down. I’m personally bored to tears with his tantrums and lack of patience. He has brought all of this season dramas upon the club himself and should take the entirety of the blame. If he isn’t committed to taking the club onto the next level then so be it.

Plenty of businesses sign all singing & dancing agreements only to bump the company when the debt gets too big, limited company he can walk away into the sunset blaming the RFL for this.

Burgess made a point of coming out to shake hands with the Rovers team after the Salford team had left the pitch. Rumours flying around that Rovers have signed him.

| yes we noticed Burgess shaking every Rovers players hand and even we said saying hello to his new teamates for next season.
I thought we defended stronger and didnt make the errors that you did in the important areas of the pitch, I dont think you will go down your too good to be relegated, you will beat Leigh in the game that matters easily.
All the best for the rest of the season.

No team is "too good to be relegated."
I can't see us avoiding the mpg - assume (big assumption) Leeds beat us, we beat Fev and Batley, that gives us 6 points and a probable place in the mpg. If we beat London, we get home advantage in the mpg. Who we play is the big question. I think it might be Huddersfield, not Leigh. Either way, I think we will lose. Pessimistic, I know, but can anyone really convince me of a more positive outcome?

| Strong rumour AJ Bell not available for MPG as Sale playing. Less chance to won away.
We need players to,finally, put in Super performance to win at Leeds.
