| Sadly, because of transport issues, cannot go. However we normally have a discussion on the team and hopes which hasn't happened.
So please can we have comments on who played well by those who wqere there?
And hopefully Middleman will have dried out.

| There was a thread on here recently entitled "Apathy" anyone wondering why need look no further, apparently it's 70 years (so i'm told) since we last completed a double over Leeds, a Leeds side up until tonight that have won the grand total of three matches all season.
Below is the general feeling amongst Leeds fans about how poor the game was and in particular about how bad they were, even in a rare victory.
[iit was horrendous, Salford were shocking. That last fifteen we were dead, missing tackles all over, a kids team could have scored past us.[/i

| It's probably the first game with a 3 figure error count and I can think of 10 other Super league clubs who would have found it a struggle to lose to Leeds tonight.

| To be fair that quote is from Gotcha, our resident miserable git.
Both defences were good, which is a significant improvement for us. Yes the attacks were poor but it was very energy-sapping weather so I think both defences did pretty well to hold out.
The conditions were horrendous for RL. Hot/humid with greasy/wet surface and then it poured with rain at half time. It's no surprise the attacks were poor and the game was very similar to the one on TV.

| Baring points being given back on again appeal, that result has confirmed us in the middle eights. We should have beaten Leeds, but again we seem unable to do what is needed and again kill off any chance to increase the number of fans
We are our own worst enemy.

"General feeling"....you mean one single poster
That's an over exagerration by one of the resident miserable sods on our boards. Not saying it was great but our defence deserves a lot of credit for that zero....that's not to say we didn't get some luck for your errors, likewise we had errors near your line too.

| Both teams defences were ' on top ' . and the weather conditions got worse over the game & weren't conducive to free flowing rugby.
Difference was Leeds managed to get their points on board early . ( Watkins looked offside from McGuires kick to tip the ball back )but you play to the whistle .
Salford had numerous opportunities to get a score back , starting with Bibby's knock-on over the line 5 mins later. and carried on until Hauraki's loss of possession on Leeds line 5 minutes from the end.

| Bizarrely, we had two kickable penalties on Friday night which would have levelled the game at 4-4....we chose to not go for either. The first one we ran and knocked on on the second tackle and with the second the set fizzled out. Strange one really as it was a reverse of the Wigan game where we should have ran and instead missed the kick at goal (the rest is history). It was such a filthy night that you'd have thought taking kickable chances would have been the order of the day.
Oh, well...I've consigned myself to never winning there...!
