We had a first on Sunday against Warrington, not only was the championship referee from Warrington, he played for Warrington, so no conflict on interest with that selection. To be honest he was not that bad but putting him in charge of his first Super League game including Warrington was just a little silly.

He isn't from Warrington and has just packed in his job to go full time. |

Chris hails from Cronton, a leafy suburb just to the north of Widnes, as did his dad, Dave.
Not sure what your link from two years ago proves, other than the fact that he was part of the Widnes Referee's Society, which also gives you a clue to where he is from.
Being a friend of his dad's I know Chris has recently gone full time and good luck to him.
Maybe I didn't use enough smilies for you to understand the facts.
I would love you to show me otherwise.

Chris is an ex professional winger who started his career with the Warrington Wolves,
what is not to understand assuming you can read it's there staring you in the face.
You don't need to use smilies btw your quite funny as it is.
Oh and just to clear things up horsey lad, I never said he came from Warrington. HTH |

and got drawn in by the bitter widnes fan.

If stating the facts rather than just making things up to suit a theory makes me bitter then I hold my hands up.
The previous poster said Campbell was from Warrington, the link you added didn't give any information to support or deny the fact so not sure why you posted it?
Campbell also turned out for St Helens and Widnes so should he not referee those teams either? |
