Sounded like a bad one from Tomkins. Any views from anyone who saw it?

Nothing different to the Catalans one last week except we got a player sin binned.

The two from last week were deemed by the match review panel "that the players landed safely".
Wtf has that got to do with it, the rules are clear that spear / cannonball tackles are illegal, the reckless intent was there just because they landed safely makes it ok???
The mind boggles.

Wasn't great. Seen worse. Don't think the player he tackled was injured so hopefully we won't see our first ban of the season. Thought Tomkins went well yesterday

Just seen the clip of the celebrations from yesterday's win. Caton Brown still on crutches from a cannon ball tackle from weeks ago and Brough wasn't even sin binned. Be so unfair if Tomkins is banned.

John Boudebza got a 4 match ban for a far less nasty looking tackle.

Yes but he plays for hull kr,so if cited for anything its at least 2 matches. Broughs cannonball tackle was terrible and wasnt banned at all,if that had been boudebza he would have been jailed.

The opinion of other rugby fans seems to be the same, Brough was guilty & until the RFL can show consistency or explain why us ordinary do not see clear transparency in there decision making we will continue to believe in the conspiracy theories.



So using this theory MCB season injury should have been at least a 6 game ban for Brough then? at least they are consistent at being inconsistent

Logan Tompkins got a one Week ban after pleading Guilty Mu Lord.
Patrick Ah Van of Widnes got a 5 week ban for his Tackle against Wakefield.
