Somewhere between 7th and 11th. A cop out, yes, but I don’t think there’s much between those sides. Salford have a good shot at the top 8 as long as we don’t get too many injuries to key players.

I don't' see where you see Cas, having finished 4th and 5th in the past two seasons, dropping further down the table to just making the 8?

and Hull FC have recruited very well I think they will be this seasons dark horses...the one weakness for me is their coach. Their fans will be on his back as soon as they lose a game. But they have a very strong pack... yes they have Leon Pryce but I expect them to make the 8 .....again....

And fourth or fifth is about right for us, once I see us at Leeds away in round 1, we'll have a clearer picture if it's our year again.

You've got to be optimistic going into the season and I believe anything less than a top 8 finish will be a disappointment.

It all depends if we can keep our top players fit for the whole duration of the season because we know how much that effected things last year.

I think the battle for a top 8 finish will be more keenly contested than the league leaders shield. There's very little difference between the majority of teams. I believe our fate will be determined by the four things that screwed us over last year - discipline, injuries, team spirit and the rub of the green.

If Catalan get their act together away from home I think they will be the team to beat.

For us I'd we'll be in a battle for 7th & 8th with hopefully a decent stab at a cup run.

Carney stays fit and he is a contender for the leading try scorer.

Keep key players fit and I think we will go well, probably in the scrap for the top 8 but just missing out.

Hopefully a decent cup run this year as well, after the debacle last season.

Being a tad hopeful and optimistic on the Salford front... We looked really cohesive yesterday and the team spirit seems back after getting rid of the cliques...A youthful team all pulling in the same direction...Working on the law of averages that we can't possibly have a worse season than last with all the shenanigans and dramas behind the scenes .and the terrible luck with injuries and suspensions....I think we can make the 8 ...just....

I'm predicting 9th place for us. Can't see us finishing higher than anyone other than Wakefield, Widnes and HKR. Anything higher than that is a bonus for me. But, as ever, I'm quietly confident of a top 4 place!

I'm 100% confident of one prediction: we'll meet Leigh in the cup. The balls are already in the freezer.
