Had a conversation with Gareth Carvell last week, he is now the Salford Academy Coach, he has asked if we, the Salford fans could help & support the the academy as what Forever Reds have done in the past. Although Marwan is supporting them, any other support off the field would be massively appreciated for the future players for Salford Red Devils.
Would look at having a get together, which Gareth would attend along with 2/3 academy players to discuss in what way we could support them. I'm sure Gareth could entice a couple of the 1st team players along as well.
If fans are interested, can you comment on this post to see what interest there is, & also, if you would come along to the get together to discuss ideas, & would you be available before Christmas, as we realize people are busy, or would the 1st week in the new year be a better option, cheers.

I think it would be a great idea, I think we supporters need to re-engage where possible, fresh ideas I certainly would support what could be our very future.

Good Idea, happy to help ,discuss possible fund raising ideas and would be nice to hear from Gareth * maybe a couple of lads who were promoted to the 1st team squad from the Academy.

Bit of a pasting in Catalans but shouldn't be too downhearted
As an aside it looked like Catalans had a tap restart after a 40-20. Does anyone know if that is what happened or is it just the way it's edited?
