No Tasi & Thornley

was hoping to see Thornley given that he is playing for Rover's next year. It would have been nice to see Michael Dobson who was fantastic for us when at KR.

I'm with Fozzy no point in playing Tasi or Thornley if their not going to be here.
The game doesn't mean much anyway apart from being Moz's last and giving Taylor a send off, so give the young lads a run out would like to see how Menzies does.

By your thinking then why play taylor he's not going to be at yours next year also

Taylor left Rovers on bad terms when he went to Wigan too big for his boots. The east stand will give him whats for tomorrow especially now that he is going to the scummers next year

Not really one for justifying myself but if I must.....
1. You can't leave everyone out (only 19 in the squad)
2. Taylor has been our best player this year, certainly forward by a long way and he's going to have to face you lot sometime.
3. Why should we play someone (ie Thornley) just so you lot can see what he's like for next season?
4. I feel it's the perfect game to reward the youngsters who've just signed full-time, as in "my personal opinion" it's a pretty much meaningless game for both clubs, in the context that both have secured SL status.

There you go hope that explains my reasoning, but I'm sure someone will see otherwise.

Taylor plays when he wants to and yes he has won your player of the year but says a lot when he is off again, HKR, Wigan, Salford,>Hull fc
Should Koolcash have bettered the Hull offer ? Given that Wigan paid him more than Rovers etc etc. If Taylor ever plays for England I will run naked through Salford town centre.

Who cares if he doesn't play for England he's been our outstanding forward this season and his commitment to the team has been one of this seasons few positives.
Koukash did try to keep him but his heart was set on going home to play for his child hood team.

Taylor would get the award for the biggest gut this season too.

Taylor was a good player for us but wanted to go to Wigan we got a fee we always knew he's end up at hull him been a fan I'm not going to let this cloud my judgement I watched him make his debut for us at leeds at 16 I think he will play international rugby at the end of the day he's a very good player
